For safe and effective results it is important to note the following prior to scheduling a waxing treatment.

• It is advised that hair to be removed should be grown to between at least 1/4 inch and 1 inch for best results.

• For body waxing, I recommend exfoliating the area that you would like to have waxed, the night before your appointment.

• Avoid long term sun exposure both before and after waxing.

• Discontinue the use of prescription and non-prescription topicals such as Retin-A, retinols, acne treatment creams, or anti-aging products up to 48 hours prior to treatment.

• While most Beauty & Twine waxing treatments require little to no social downtime, common side effects may include, redness, itchiness, or inflammation of the treatment site. Please schedule waxing treatments 2 to 3 days prior to a special event.
